Once upon a time there was a boy who turned into the sea. He tried to get that rock to pay attention to him, but it never would. He sang to it, but his only song was mist. He reached for it, but his only arms were waves. He wished for it, but his only wish was the moon. So he tried to ignore it, but he couldn’t do that either.
If only he had never turned into the sea, things might be different. But anyway the whales, the fish, and the birds like things the way they are.
Thank you for you like on my blog.
I really like this short story, it is profound in it’s simplicity.

Thanks for visiting my blog! I really enjoyed your poems, “Thomas” if that’s your real name and maybe it is.
